Beginning Knitting Class

Structure
The Beginning
Knitting class will meet once
a week for six weeks, for two hours each session. Class participants
are encouraged to bring in project ideas or questions, and to work
independently on what they have learned between sessions. E-mail or
phone support is available during the week.
Fees,
Supplies and Materials
The cost for the six-week class is $90. This fee includes a pair of
needles, yarn for stitch practice and for a small introductory project,
and an instructional booklet. I will also supply a list of internet
sources for free patterns and on-line tutorial help, a list of
recommended books, and other resources.
Introduction to Spinning Class

The
Introduction
to Spinning class will meet
once a week for three weeks, for two hours each session. Class
participants are encouraged to bring in project ideas or questions, and
to work independently on what they have learned between sessions.
E-mail or phone support is available during the week.
Fees,
Supplies and Materials
The cost for the three-week class is $50. This fee includes a drop
spindle, practice wool, a wheel to use both in class and between
classes (with security deposit) and all other supplies. I will also
provide a notebook of reference handouts with a list of internet
sources for on-line tutorial help, a list of recommended books, and
other resources.
An Introduction to Crochet Class is in development. Please contact me if you have an interest in this class.
Note: Classes are held in the Little Red Barn at Jacob’s Reward Farm, home of Smokey the Barn Cat, so anyone allergic to cats may need to come prepared with antihistamines!
